These are the shapes and construction that the Balance team has been perfecting for five seasons, three years of PKRA feedback and two years of full production have helped make these the ultimate all-round performers. Each season rider feedback has helped further advance their design, refining rocker and outline and helping dial in the perfect layup for our goal of creating the ultimate shape for all water conditions.

The Balance Team outlines provide a firm foundation for attempting any freestyle manoeuvre with a tip outline and rail thickness smooth enough to eliminate spray, yet still strong enough to let you land the most powerful tricks. With amazing upwind ability and huge pop the Balance Teams remain the first choice for many pro-riders as a one stop-shop for dominating in flat water and choppy conditions.

A laminated Poplar and Paulownia wood blend core provides the perfect balance of core strength and low volume. A three-part layup merging biax and triax glass with unidirectional carbon fibre stringers provides the utmost in torsional control and positive feedback underfoot.

Of course there are some ingredients to our secret sauce that we want to keep to ourselves, so these remain hidden within our high pressure moulded construction, sealed away behind a full gloss top sheet emblazoned with the boldest graphics available.

The signature model boards are a step up from their Team model brothers. Built in the sizes that our pro-riders demand; created to allow them to run a wider stance and make the switch between straps and bindings whenever conditions or their sense of style dictates.

We are proud of having created what we consider the highest specification board construction available today. A laminated Poplar and Paulownia wood blend core provides the perfect balance of core strength and low volume. A three part layup merging biax  and triax glass  with unidirectional carbon fibre stringers provides the utmost in torsional control and positive feedback underfoot. Tactical use of Airex-foam and Honeycomb tip inserts help reduce swing weight allowing to stop-start your rotation on a dime.

The signature boards have an even  more complex 'secret sauce' that we want to keep to ourselves, so these remain hidden within our high pressure moulded construction, sealed away behind a full gloss skins finished with a signature graphic created by the riders themselves.

Each board is tested and approved by them, from the placement of the glass to the flex of the tips right up to the width of the stance. These are the very same boards that they use for competitions and freeride, a kiteboard that you can trust to use, abuse, a great all round performer in any conditions, in every terrain – including kickers and sliders.

Wide series: 133-39.5 and 135-40

If you desire a board with a little more width to soften those big landing or to let you run your pads and straps way off the centre line then the Wide series are the boards for you. Built to the same spec as the Signature series boards these will help you dig deep when you need to achieve.

Construction:

Honeycomb tips: Lightweight aerospace honeycomb tip sections help reduce rotating mass. With less weight in the board tips you can start and stop your rotations on a dime allowing you to throw down variations that simply can't be performed on a heavier board.

Poplar and Paulownia core: The perfect wood-blend core for the ideal balance of maximum strength with minimum weight and volume. Low density Paulownia wood provides for a lightweight core while stronger and more dense Poplar laminates reinforce the rail and centre sections of the board.

Carbon stringers: High strength unidirectional carbon stringers run tip to tip, defining how our boards respond to torsion loads. It is our custom blend of carbon type and placement that gives every Balance board unbeatable feel underfoot.

Secret sauce: It's not what you do it's the way that you do it that separates the everyday from the exceptional. At balance we realize that there are some parts of our board design, no matter how important they are, that should remain secret.
