Kite surfing is a sport that uses wind power to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard. Kitesurfing is taking on many forms- snow, land, and sea. Kite-powered sailing is being explored by cargo ships, in wish to save on petrol voyage costs.
French kite-surfing adventurer Anne Quemere prepared her kite boat in the San Francisco Bay, California, in October.
She set off on November 4 and had traveled some 3,500 kilometers, according to her team.
