The Kitesurf Center's owner is Stefan Ruether. He has been dedicated to the Dominican Watersports Scene since 1993 and was one of the founding partners of the first kiteboarding school in Cabarete in 1999.
He likes to boast that he was once the best kiteboarder in Cabarete - of course there were only three at the time!
